Probreed

Cavalor Probreed

Product presentation

Probreed is a mix rich in high organic proteins (proteins which mainly contain essential amino acids necessary for the growth and functioning of the young systems of unborn foals), as well as in important vitamins, minerals and trace elements of exceptional quality. Probreed also contains the Opti-Growth element. This element already provides maximal support of bone, tendon and joint development in the unborn foal. Gestating mares in their last three months of gestation, lactating mares, and young foals, up to the age of 12 months, have an increased need of the top quality proteins mentioned above which they often have to go without.
Probreed is the result of years of cooperation between Cavalor and Europe's largest and most famous studs who partly get their quality from the Cavalor nutritional supplements and ration calculations. Probreed is an important tool in breeding to ensure that conditions are created for healthy and strong foals.

Directions for use

Nutraceutical

 Pro-Yeast

A lot of horses are fed large amounts of feed concentrates: e.g. sports horses and mares, in fowl and lactating. It is mainly in the small intestine that grains are converted from starch into glucose. When every meal more grains are fed than the small intestine is capable to digest, this step is passed on to the large intestine. Inside the large intestine, the acid value (pH) subsequently drops (acidification), causing the micro-organisms to become less active and prompting a poorer digestion. Active yeast cultures are the solution for this problem as they stimulate healthy bacteria inside the large intestine and hinder malignant bacteria (streptococci). This prevents acidification (pH drop), which allows the micro flora to operate marvellously.
Pro-Yeast provides optimal digestion of crude fiber, optimal intake of minerals, optimal production of B-vitamins, optimal yield of the total feed and, last but not least, a reduced risk of colics.

Omega 3

Omega 3-fatty acids not only benefit man, since they are just as beneficial for horses, offering a propitious effect on their health and condition. In addition to a glossy coat, omega 3-fatty acids offer a wide number of healthful effects. Omega 3-fatty acids are immunity stimulants; serve as inflammation inhibitors; prevent the blood from clotting whilst prompting improved blood circulation and act as a defence against a host of allergies. This unique fatty acid composition supports the general condition of the horse.

Opti-Growth

The right calcium/phosphorus ratio is crucial for the development
of the bones. Calcium deficiency cannot be established through blood analysis as the calcium level in the blood gives no indication of the calcium in the body (80% of the calcium is stored in the skeleton). In case of calcium shortage, calcium is taken from the bones which results in porous bones, rickets and osteoporosis. Unduly high levels of calcium have an adverse impact on the availability of phosphorus, magnesium, zinc and manganese. In case of phosphorus deficiency, the bones become brittle and the horse's performances drop. In case of too high levels of phos-phorus, the small intestine will focus on absorbing the phosphorus, to the detriment of calcium, magnesium, zinc and manganese.
So it is essential to have an optimal calcium/phosphorus ratio.
Opti-Growth guarantees healthy bone development and optimal availability of copper, zinc and manganese for the joints and bones.
